About this website
Sri Lanka Calling is an independent travel information website run by Sri Lanka Calling. We share guides, photos, videos and personal experiences to help travellers discover Sri Lanka. We are not a travel agency, tour operator, tourist board or government body, and we do not sell tours, accommodation or transport on this site.
Travel information disclaimer
- General information only. Content is written in good faith from our own knowledge and experience and from public sources, but it is not professional travel, medical, legal or safety advice.
- Things change. Opening hours, entry fees, prices, routes, travel times, visa and entry rules, and the best seasons to visit can change without notice. Please check current details with official sources and your providers before you travel.
- Wildlife is wild. We cannot promise you will see any animal on a safari or tour, including elephants and leopards. Wildlife activities, beaches, waterfalls, hikes and water sports carry real risks. Follow park rules, guide instructions and local warnings, and use licensed operators.

Please do not misuse the site: do not try to hack, disrupt or overload it, upload malicious files, submit spam, or collect personal information about other visitors.
